ABU's Old Classics!

Here we have an unusual Ambassadeur which is complete being a  very rare mint in first type of plain cardboard box  owned by Peter of Stockholm.

It is for all the world like a Record Ambassadeur but without any Record or the soon to appear ABU engraving.

The date of engraving changeover would be sometime in  1958. It's serialized number is 73409 which means no accurate dating is possible.

My friend Uffe Edefuhr tells me he has only ever seen two of these reels personally but he  believes a batch of 15 to 20 may have been made.
