Mr Crabtree's Guide to Good Tackle ...

An English production by the Daily Mirror printed in 1969 and heavily featuring fine ABU fishing equipment. Now out of print and nearly impossible to find. I recently was given an original copy by a new friend, Mike O'Leary from the UK, primarily I guess to further assist my goal of sharing the word of ABU worldwide. I will acknowledge his generosity when permission is received. Perhaps we will see him share some of his ABU expertise here on these pages in future.

Must have lure of the day are featured for a variety of fish such as these trout and cod as well as pike and perch  and useful fishing accessories of the day.

Note incidentally that ALL rods reels lures are ABU only in a book about all sorts of fine tackle of the era. Some testament to the quality
