Many of the Ambassadeur reels are very suitable for game fishing.
Prototype I.G.F.A. REEL
The Ambassadeur 20 was
made as a proto-type. It was made in a small production run of only 15
copies and it was test-fished for approximately 2-3 months.
The frame was made of red
anodized aluminium. but they changed into it stainlesss steel because of
the salt water and to withstand the hard use they were to be
made for.
The spool was made of some
sort of plastic or fiber and it was not strong enough for the hard
fishing so that's the reason it was later made from metal for the actual
production reels.
The handles ,sideplates and
the mechanical insides were not changed.
This is a very rare reel and the whereabouts of all the other 14 are not known.

If you have any ordinary stainless steel ABU 20, (or indeed a rare red ABU 20) that is unneeded or doubles in your collection and are available for a reasonable fee, I would be very pleased to hear from you. I cannot afford to collect Mint, in-box or unused reels at present, until my children have completed their education.
