Components and spares

My personal experience with ABU equipment (for the most part, excepting one broken spool and some level wind parts) is that rarely does one need to buy spares unless one has abused the reel or neglected the normal maintenance regimes. My level wind and pawls last about ten years with a lot of use. I have accidentally dropped a spool which caused damage.

Here are some wonderful pictures kindly permitted by  Kyo for those who have difficulty wading through        this Japanese language site.

Very shortly a fine collection of spare parts will be able to be seen here due to the generosity of a wonderful supporter of this website Gary, the pro fisher from South Australia who loves his ABU fishing gear!
