This red plastic-sided casting reel was the second trial model for better salt water resistance.

Over time Ultra violet light caused the plastic sides to fade. This one is good!
 

It has a  free running spool , finely adjustable mechanical brakes.

Line capacity is 170 m of .30mm

It is identical to the ABU 3000 that it replaced except for colour.
