Collectors Lures.

A work in progress which all will appreciate I'm sure!

Many thanks to Mike, Derrik, Rob, Henrik, Hans, Steen, Uffe and others in the future

Record ABU Lures by the Decade 40's, 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's

Mortblank (First released in 1949)

Like the Torsjo, the Record Mortblank was released earliest in the larger size 20g 65 mm long version but  had a uninterupted 20 year production run ending in 1959, which indicated a successful spoon design. It was in G, S, K, Z, Cr, S/G, S/K and Pm colours.

Lill-Blank was the usual 7g mass and was only 34 mm in length . It was available in identical colours as the earlier 20g version and ceased production in 1966.

The lures were only ever released in 20g and 7 g sizes.

In the mid 60's, I suspect in the year the Record versions were discontinued, the ABU Mortblank was released until 1975.

There was a wider range of colours available including all the original , plus D, T, M and BGL, making 12 colours in total

I have 4 small and 4 large Mortblank in S, G, K and Z only. Always looking to add to my collection if you have doubles to swap or sell.

Record ABU Lures by the Decade 40's, 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's

I am attempting here to create (with the help of others), the greatest collection of illustrated  information about Record ABU lures ever collected together and freely available for all to learn from. Obviously image copyright for alternative publishing purposes always remains with the owners.

Please feel your input, help , criticism is very welcome and I look forward to expanding with network of Record ABU lure collectors and appreciators.

Contact me here to assist.

If you have any other lures, that are un-needed or doubles in your collection and are available for swapping or a reasonable fee, I would be very pleased to hear from you.
