Visit to Angelholm, Sweden

Uffe and Janet

These long time friends made my trip to Sweden possible and so enjoyable

We met at  Copenhagen airport before the journey of just an hour to Angelholm Skane, Southern Sweden.

Family and friends made me very welcome !

Dining out for Indian food, pizza and steaks and salad were popular choices each week. Not forgetting Helges home made Hazelnut and cream dessert for Midsummers party.

Many local drives and walks  were undertaken showing the sights as well.

Lots of things learned here locally  re smoking , curing fish, local customs and celebrations of Midsummer.

Fishing in the sea, lakes, rivers and streams were undertaken at every opportunity.

But we did not merely stay in Angelholm.

We travelled 4200 km , from the north of Sweden to Sandviken to the south in Denmark and to the east to Morrum and Svangsta and then back to Copenhagen for my departure.

A holiday long remembered.
